Methods: /OpenFile("file", [OpenCodepage], [OpenBOM]) "file" file to open. OpenCodepage Open codepage, if -1 or not specified, it will be autodetected. OpenBOM File byte order mark, if -1 or not specified, it will be autodetected. /OpenFile("C:\File.txt", 65001, -1) method opens file in UTF-8 codepage. /SaveFile("file", SaveCodepage, SaveBOM) "file" save file name. SaveCodepage codepage. SaveBOM Byte order mark. 1 - exist, 0 - doesn't exist. /SaveFile("C:\File.txt", 65001, 0) method saves file in UTF-8 codepage without BOM. /Command(InternalCommand) /Command(4162) method calls the internal command at number 4162. /Call("Plugin::Function", [additional parameters]) /Call("Scripts::Main") method calls Scripts plugin and Main function. /Exec("command line", ["working directory"]) /Exec("notepad.exe") method calls notepad. /Exec(`notepad.exe`) method calls notepad. /Exec('notepad.exe') method calls notepad. /Exec('%windir%\notepad.exe') method calls notepad. /Exec(`rundll32.exe shell32,ShellExec_RunDLL "%%f"`, "%%d") method pass an active file for opening on Windows association. /Font("FaceName", Style, Size) "FaceName" Font face, for example, "Courier". Unchanged, if "". Style (one of the following): 0 ignored. 1 normal. 2 bold. 3 italic. 4 bold italic. Size Font size. Unchanged, if 0. /Font("Courier", 4, 10) method sets Courier bold italic font with 10 pt. /Recode(RecodeFrom, RecodeTo) /Recode(1252, 437) method recodes the text from 1252 codepage to 437. /Insert("text", [Esc-sequences]) "text" Inserted text. Esc-sequences: 0 - "text" isn't contain Esc-sequences (default). 1 - "text" contain Esc-sequences. A set of sequences similar to the find/replace dialog in the program, and also "\s" that is replaced by the selected text of the editing window. /Insert("Some string") method replaces selection with the specified text. /Insert("<B>\s</B>", 1) method enclose selection. /Insert("\[0031 0032 0033]", 1) method replaces selection with "123". Variables in methods: %%f - active file %%d - directory of active file %%a - AkelPad's directory %%%% - symbol % %system variable%

ShowModify	Defines, where it will be possible to see, that the document is changed. Sets by the sum of members: 1 - Display "Modified" in status bar. 2 - Display asterisk * in main window title (SDI). 4 - Display asterisk * in frame window title (MDI). 8 - Display asterisk * in tab button name (MDI). By default: 1+8=9, show all: 1+2+4+8=15.
StatusPosType	Defines how status bar statistics will be displayed. Sets by the sum of members: 1 - "Line:Column". By default: "Line:Symbol". 2 - Wrap line numbers. By default: Non-wrap line numbers. By default: 0.
WordBreak	Defines how the caret on Ctrl+Left/Ctrl+Right will move. Works only if enabled "Word delimiters" in settings (WordDelimitersEnable=1). Sets by the sum of members: 1 - Left movement is stopped, when word start is found. 2 - Left movement is stopped, when word end is found. 4 - Right movement is stopped, when word start is found. 8 - Right movement is stopped, when word end is found. 16 - Movement is stopped, when spacing start is found. Cannot be combined with 64. 32 - Movement is stopped, when spacing end is found. Cannot be combined with 128. 64 - Movement is continued, when spacing start is found. Cannot be combined with 16. 128 - Movement is continued, when spacing end is found. Cannot be combined with 32. 256 - Movement is stopped, when new line is found. By default: 1+2+4+8+32+64=111 (AkelEdit), 1+8=9 (AkelPad).
PaintOptions	Defines, some text draw settings. Sets by the sum of members: 1 - Paint text by group of characters (default is character by character). With this flag some text recognition programs could start to work, printer could print faster, but highlighted symbols and combined unicode symbols can be drawn differently and editing of whose characters may become uncomfortable. 2 - Disable drawing new line selection as space character. 4 - Draw new line selection to the right edge. 8 - Hides the selection when the control loses the input focus. 256 - Hides scroll bars instead of disabling them. 512 - Draw thin edit window border. By default: 0.
RichEditClass	Defines edit control class name: 0 - "AkelEdit". 1 - "RichEdit20". By default: 0.
DateInsertFormat	Defines insert date and time format. Time: h Hours with no leading zero for single-digit hours; 12-hour clock. hh Hours with leading zero for single-digit hours; 12-hour clock. H Hours with no leading zero for single-digit hours; 24-hour clock. HH Hours with leading zero for single-digit hours; 24-hour clock. m Minutes with no leading zero for single-digit minutes. mm Minutes with leading zero for single-digit minutes. s Seconds with no leading zero for single-digit seconds. ss Seconds with leading zero for single-digit seconds. t One character time-marker string, such as A or P. tt Multicharacter time-marker string, such as AM or PM. Date: d Day of month as digits with no leading zero for single-digit days. dd Day of month as digits with leading zero for single-digit days. ddd Day of week as a three-letter abbreviation. dddd Day of week as its full name. M Month as digits with no leading zero for single-digit months. MM Month as digits with leading zero for single-digit months. MMM Month as a three-letter abbreviation. MMMM Month as its full name. y Year as last two digits, but with no leading zero for years less than 10. yy Year as last two digits, but with leading zero for years less than 10. yyyy Year represented by full four digits. gg Period/era string. Example: "H:mm:ss dd MMMM yyyy" -> "12:50:24 01 September 2010" By default: "" - program defined date and time format.
DateLogFormat	Defines date and time format for files containing ".LOG" at the beginning. Works only if enabled "Insert date if file has .LOG at the beginning" in settings (DateLog=1). See DateInsertFormat for syntax description. By default: "" - program defined date and time format.
